2013 - Zooid service update

Dear Colleagues,

Having spent the difficult months of 2012 swimming against the tide and invigorating Zooid with new investment, we are entering 2013, ready to give you the best media services ever:

New staff
Most important of all - the people that make-up Zooid:
ensuring that you receive the greatest possible care and attention in all your project needs for photos, video and illustration, research, licensing and production.

New media
Zooid has increased Its commissioned illustration service and our video production and editing.
So now you can view, select, comment and approve your illustrations and/or your video productions (rough cuts and finals) online, as simply as you do now for photos and footage.
Illustrators can also be selectied from our online portfolios or proposed by you / us.

New technologies
Our interactive online selection, commenting and ordering tool, will be updated in the next two months to enable a seamless HTML5 experience on iPad, iPhone etc., removing any need for Flash.
PLUS we are radically improving our connectivity with key clients via automated updates of their management systems with data from our unique Picture Desk system, providing you with fine grain rights control, live.

The technology has moved on and Zooid is once again leagues ahead! Yeeee-hah!

New Partners
Zooid has established production partnerships with photographers and cinematographers, and has now added one of the UK's largest television / interactive / new media production houses, in order to ensure that we can still deliver any asset you need (photo or footage; studio, location or animation) at existing stock rates - regardless of whether it already exists in an archive.
In other words, in addition to research we will originate at no extra cost, whenever that provides the most efficient means of supplying what you need.

New Rights Packages
Our educational publishing clients will soon be able to take advantage of new rights packages that permit much greater flexibility in terms of copies printed (or downloaded); repeat uses in related products; distribution via additional media; localised variations of core title; and license duration.
